Tuition

Tuition is pro-rated and is based on approximately 32 weeks of dance instruction/opportunity. Nine (9) equal payments are due on the first week of each month, September through and including May. Payments are the same whether there are two, three, four, or five classes that month.

Yearly Registration Fee: $25 per family

If paying online with credit or debit card, a 3% convenience fee will be charged per transaction. Automatic payments will be charged the first Friday of each month.

*** Only one choreographed dance is included in the prices above. Additional choreography is available for a one-time fee of $300 per dance. Additional costumes are not included. To participate in a solo, duet, or trio, dancers must also be enrolled in a group class (any style, regular or competitive). This policy supports teamwork and a positive studio atmosphere.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available for dancers looking to work on specific skills or techniques. Schedule through the studio.

Competition

Competition Members Fee: $175/year

What this fee covers: Routine registration, teacher and instructor presence at competitions, and all related organization and communication.
What this fee doesn’t cover: Entry fees for individual competitions.

Discounts

Expressions Dance Institute offers a discount for families who pay the full year in advance with cash, check, or money order.

Late Fees & Tuition Policy

Late Payments

Payments are due on the first of each month. A $10 late fee will be charged for every week a payment is not received.

Non-Sufficient Funds

A $35 fee applies to all NSF transactions.

Tuition Policy

  • Expressions Dance Institute reserves the right to drop any student for non-payment of tuition.
  • Families with outstanding balances may not purchase recital tickets until all fees are paid in full.
  • Dancers with outstanding balances may not receive costumes or participate in the annual recital until all fees are paid in full.
  • A written notice is required one month in advance to discontinue classes.
  • If you pre-pay and withdraw mid-year, any remaining balance will be held as Expressions Dance Institute credit, applicable toward tuition only.

Drop Policy

You must give the studio one month’s written notice before dropping any class.

  • If you drop after October 1st, you will still owe the remaining costume portion of tuition plus a $100 cancellation fee.
  • If you drop after January 1st, you will still owe the remaining tuition for the year.
