Emily’s lifelong passion for dance began at the age of two and has flourished over more than 30 years, spanning 10 diverse genres. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Emily combines academic rigor—holding dual Bachelor’s degrees in Health & Human Performance (Exercise Sports and Science) and Dance Education—with practical certifications in Physical Therapy Assistance, Ki-hara Resistance Stretching, and Mashing. She continually enriches her skills through yearly trainings, adjudications, and performances across the Midwest. For Emily, understanding the body and precise technique is as essential as mastering choreography, ensuring each class is as safe as it is inspiring.

Her warm, one-on-one teaching approach has earned her awards in choreography and accolades for excellence in education. More than just a teacher, Emily is a role model who believes that with the right guidance, anyone can discover the transformative power of dance.
