Tuition

Tuition is pro-rated and is based on approximately 32 weeks of dance instruction/opportunity. Ten (10) equal payments are due on the first week of each month; September through and including June. Payments are the same whether there are two, three, four or five classes that month.

** If paying online with credit card, debit card, or bank draft a 3% Convenience Fee will be charged per transaction. Automatic payments will be charged the first Friday of each month.

Yearly Registration Fee- $15.00 or $20 per family

ALL TIGHTS, ACCESSORIES, COSTUMES, AND RECITAL T-SHIRT ARE INCLUDED IN THE MONTHLY TUITION PRICE.

Drop Policy: 

You must give the studio 1 month notice of dropping any classes in writing. If you decide to drop out of class after Oct. 1st you will still owe for the remaining costume portion of tuition as well as a $50 cancelation fee. If you paid for the year in advance or 1/2 year payment option and decide to drop you will not receive a refund it would remain on your account as credit minus the costume portion and cancelation fee.

*** Only one choreographed dance is included in the prices above. If you would like additional dances choreographed there will be a $200.00 one time choreography fee per additional dance. Additional costumes are also not included in the above prices.

In order to do a solo, duet, or trio, you must be enrolled in a group class as well. It can be any style and it can be a regular or competitive class. This rule is to enforce team work within the studio and to continue to keep the atmosphere positive. 

If you are looking for private lessons to work on a few specific skills, moves, etc. You can schedule those through the studio. Private lessons for this reason are $35.00 (30 min.) $65.00 (60 min.)

Competition Member Fee: $150.00 per year

-This fee covers the process and registration of entering routines into competitions, teacher/instructor presence at both competitions as well as the extra organization and communication involved in competition. Entry fees into the actual competitions are not included in this fee.

Expressions Dance Institute Discounts Available: 

Expressions offers the option of picking one of the discount options below.
Pay for entire year in advance with cash, check or money order and receive the following discount:

10% (1 Month) Free      [Total amount due by Oct. 1st to get the discount]

Pay for 1/2 year in advance with cash, check or money order and receive the following discount:

 5% (1/2 Month) Free     [1st payment is due by Oct. 1st then 2nd payment due by Feb. 1st]

LATE FEES:

Ten (10) equal payments are due on the first day of each month; September through and including June.

If payments are not received on time there will be a $10.00 late charge for every week it is not received.

Non-Sufficient Funds:  There is a $35 fee for all NSF’s.

Tuition Policy:

• Expressions Dance Institute reserves the right to drop any student for non-payment of their tuition.
• Families with outstanding balances will not be able to purchase any recital tickets until all fees are paid in full.
• Dancers with outstanding balances will not able to receive dance costumes or participate in the annual recital until all fees are paid in full.
• If any student wishes to discontinue classes, a written notice is required one month in advance.
• If you pre-pay and drop in the middle of the year, the balance remaining will be Expressions Dance Institute credit good on tuition only.
